LURE FISHING FROM THE SOLAR BIG GAME BOAT MADE FOR A GREAT END TO THE DAY

A relaxing day on the lake with the lines out resulted in some nice fish but most of all some great smiles by all.

Pacu fishing in Thailand has to be some of the best Lure
fishing in the world.

We decided to take the boat over to a little spot and target a Pacu, now these fish come out from under cover hit the food then return, when they feel a hook they dive for that cover again. This can make for some hard work when fishing from land, but with a good boat it is a different story.
With a bit of boat work it was no problem to reposition the line and move the fish out from cover into the deeper water to finish the fight, it takes skill of the angler and skill of the captain to keep enough pressure on the line to stop the fish from going further under cover, but with enough slip on the brake to allow the boat to move into position. With a nice and smooth operation I was able to position the Solar Boat in a wind eddy to hold our position, and grab the video camera

The result to the targeting was this nice Pacu, a great fight with good hit on the lure followed by a great fight for about 4 minutes, we were even lucky to see some great jumping action, it was nice having a challenge to the fishing, using all the skills of two people to land this fish. We are proud of the Quality of the fish and their fight.

We dont get massive volumes of fish but we do land the best quality you are likley to see ever, as for the size well that is not to bad either!.

This fish did in fact end up as dinner, some of the species that we have in the lake offer great lunches and dinners. With the Barramundi growing at amazing rates we will see some great dishes being served on the Solar boat as a result of the clients angling.

if you land a Pacu or a Barramundi then the Country Club will gladly serve this catch as lunch or dinner for you on the Solar Boat. Just a nice added service that allows an Angler to enjoy the labours of the fishing.
